IWC Mark XI

99,999,999 JPY

When it comes to IWC's most famous models, the MARK series, which has a history of being supplied to the military, comes to mind.

This is a Mark 11 that was supplied to the Austrian army of the British Commonwealth Forces at the time.

The Austrian army model does not have the broad arrow mark on the dial, and its minimalist design is personally more appealing to me, as are the civilian versions.

The handwritten marking on the case back is very rare, and the NATO stock number can be confirmed.

The '66' indicates the Austrian army, and the '78' engraving shows that it was made in 1978.

The case is unpolished, and the edges are well-defined.

Both the dial and hands retain their original tritium, making this a rare and exceptionally well-preserved example for a military watch.

While not a genre we typically handle, this Mark 11 is in excellent condition and comes highly recommended.
