We're introducing "ZAZOU," a special model categorized as "avant-garde," known for its particularly eye-catching design even within Frame France eyewear.

The name comes from the French word "zazou." It originated from a youth subculture in Paris during World War II, under the Nazi occupation and the repressive and strict atmosphere of the Vichy regime. These young people resisted by embracing American jazz and oversized, flashy clothing. Today, it refers to an eccentric person with an unconventional style.

The design, which further pares down the "GARGOYLE" model (also categorized as avant-garde) into something simpler, sparks the imagination that it might be the original model for ROCK, many of which are from the 50s.

Similar to the two models we introduced recently, the color is clear. The coreless temples, characteristic of the 40s, are the most obvious feature, and their light impression provides a good contrast to the presence of Frame France eyewear. Especially with ZAZOU, coupled with its linear cutting, the sharpness of the clear frame seems to stand out even more.

This is our suggestion for a pair that, especially for the upcoming season, makes a definite statement without feeling too heavy.
