Many customers of AFTER, a glasses and watch store, own multiple pairs of glasses and multiple watches, and enjoy choosing from them according to their mood and style for the day. For those who love glasses and watches, this is no different when traveling or going on an outing. Many people, I'm sure, take several items with them, such as glasses, sunglasses, multiple watches, and spare straps.
With this in mind, a case that is truly "AFTER-like" has been completed for those who love glasses and watches. It has a charming appearance, yet it doesn't stand out too much beyond its role as a case, and above all, it offers unparalleled functionality - the Glasses & Watch Case.
When it was released last year, it was very well received, and even after it sold out, we received a fair number of inquiries. For this restock, we have updated the details, adopting a more understated zipper and fabric.
Our partner in the production was none other than RAMIDUS. RAMIDUS, which espouses the concept of "new standard," produces many products with enhanced functionality and a basic yet not overly casual look. Their world view is highly compatible with the glasses and watches handled at AFTER, leading to this collaboration.
In terms of looks, we designed it to be as simple as possible, so that it wouldn't be overly conspicuous. The AFTER logo is subtly incorporated into the woven name, and even the smallest details, such as the zippers and fabric, adopt a good kind of casualness that blends in without preconceptions.
Amidst all this, there is a single horizontal stitch along the bottom of the case. This detail, which is a signature of RAMIDUS products, is arguably the only true design element in this case.
In terms of functionality, the design allows for the storage of up to four items, combining glasses and watches, and the partitions dividing each space can be moved back and forth. This allows you to adjust the space to the size of the items you are storing, and by removing one partition to create a larger space, you can also store glasses or watch care items there.
The most distinctive feature of this AFTER-like case is the rubber band used at the bottom of the storage space to secure watches. This allows it to be used not only as a glasses case, but also to store both glasses and watches, or as a dedicated watch case.
The inside of the case uses polyester micro-fiber, gently protecting your precious glasses and watches and preventing scratches. The large pocket on the back of the flap is highly elastic and can store glasses cloths, spare watch straps, etc. In addition, the narrow pocket in the center of the case is cleverly designed to store a screwdriver for adjusting glasses or a spring bar removal tool for watches.
I don't think there are many stores besides AFTER that specialize in glasses and watches. This case, which could only have been realized by AFTER, is an ideal design that allows you to compactly carry everything you need, whether it's glasses, watches, or both.

As a playful touch for this limited release, we are also offering a collaboration version with Johnson, a watch collector based in Hong Kong with close ties to AFTER.
