The saddle bridge, also known as Ichiyama, is a type of spectacle bridge that rests directly on the nose, securing the glasses. While simple in design, it was difficult to adjust flexibly, which led to its decline in popularity after the introduction of conventional nose pads in the 1930s.

This new model updates the Ichiyama for modern times. By adopting a newly developed part called the "changeable saddle bridge," it is now possible to adjust the size to fit the wearer.

The lenses have a rounded oval shape. The bridge, positioned slightly lower than usual, adds to a somewhat charming aesthetic, offering a fresh impression that differs from the familiar oval. Other details also feature subtle changes in design, such as indentations and roundness, which are very effective.

Both as eyewear and as a fashion accessory, it is innovative and, above all, finished to an extremely high standard, making it easy to agree with the designer's assessment of its excellent quality.

This is an Ichiyama that can be properly worn, something that arguably has not existed in the industry until now.
