1024 Sunglasses
77,000 JPY
This is a plain frame that was influenced by the WOLFGANG PROKSCH frames from the 2000s, which the designer himself said had the most impact on him. While the square half-rim design gives a light impression that fits modern times, the structure of fixing the lens with nylon thread is a historical one that dates back to the 1950s.
Eyewear from the 90s and 00s, which served as the inspiration for this model, often had appealing designs but cheap construction. This model features an approach characteristic of EYEVAN 7285, offering both the look of that era and the satisfaction of owning a meticulously crafted piece.
The straight, clean lines of the end pieces and temples, characterized by their double-wire design, were inspired by the main gallery of the Hakone Open-Air Museum, designed by sculptor Bukichi Inoue in the late 1960s.
The sunglasses lenses are made of MR material, which is lightweight, strong, and aesthetically pleasing. The colors are also specially created originals.
