The Ref. 1016 Explorer 1 has been highly sought after in recent years.
Among them, this particular model is the "Mega Fat Dial," known for its exceptionally thick and charming 3.6.9 luminous markers. It was produced only in 1967, immediately after the transition from the highly popular mirror dial to the matte dial.
While Mega Fat Dials have always been popular, it feels like there are many more people searching for them now.
This particular piece has no missing lume, and its case shape is robust, maintaining excellent condition.
It is fitted with a 7206 rivet bracelet from 1968.
