Ref.6424 Big Oyster

This is the Ref. 6424, known as the "Big Oyster" because its usual 34mm OYSTER movement is housed in a 36mm case.
Since it lacks a date display, it appears larger than its actual size.
The Ref. 6424, which does not have lug holes in the case, originally came with a 7206 rivet bracelet with dedicated 75 flash fit end links, but many examples are found with this removed.
This particular piece includes the correct rivet bracelet, which alone holds significant value.
The alpha hands are a perfect match for the beautifully aged ivory dial.
