Ref.5513 Submariner MK5

This is a Ref. 5513 Submariner from 1984, known as "Maxi" due to its large luminous dots.

This particular piece is a Maxi Mark 5, the final version where the "SUBMARINER" text is larger than the water resistance rating.

Since the "luminous with silver rim" version appeared in 1985, this is the last Maxi dial.

There are MK1 to MK5 versions, but the MK5 is the rarest and surprisingly hard to find.

The bezel has faded to a blue-gray, and the lugs are thick and solid, making this a well-balanced watch in terms of condition and aesthetic appeal.
