Ref.5500 Boys Explorer

Like Ref. 1016, this is a Boy's Explorer Ref. 5500 with the iconic 3, 6, and 9 dial.
The Boy's Explorer, said to have been sold only in the UK, used the same 34mm case as the Ref. 5500 Air King.
The dial is in excellent condition, gleaming brightly with no haziness.
This particular piece was given to an American Airlines pilot and has "AA" engraved on the buckle.
