This model uses "post-plating," a manufacturing method where the front and temple metal hinges are polished together, aligned perfectly, and then low-temperature plated. This process achieves sharp edges around the hinges and a beautiful, flush alignment of different materials.

The front, featuring strikingly lowered endpieces, is sampled from 1950s American vintage styles. The substantial forms of the front and temples create an excellent contrast with the precise design around the hinges.
