This series is inspired by domestic brand eyewear released in the early 2000s. By combining hand-polishing by artisans, which takes more than five times longer than usual, with machine polishing using tungsten blades, we achieve both a beautiful luster and sharp edges.

In this latest work, models with "R" at the end of their model number feature new brow-type color variations with stepped-down fronts created by laminating fabrics of different colors. While emphasizing the sharpness of the edges, this design makes the already complex polishing process even more challenging.

The pins continue to be made of K10 gold. This highly precise design is paired with a lens shape that has a somewhat unbalanced impression, similar to the 343 released in 2023S/S. This exquisite imbalance is what makes EYEVAN 7285 appealing as a contemporary craft, distinct from perfectly engineered industrial products.
