1014
60,500 JPY
The 1014, a double-bridge frame designed for today's styles with an American vintage feel, has arrived. This model, released in 2025SS with a modified lens shape from the 191, features an exquisite lens shape that can be described as both square and aviator. Its characteristics include a restrained minimalism, with bridges and temples devoid of intricate patterns.
The bridge, in particular, was meticulously refined multiple times, resulting in a subtly curved, irregular outline. Mr. Nakagawa, the designer of EYEVAN 7285, realized that the bridge significantly influences the overall impression of double-bridge frames after observing many different styles.
Design that meticulously refines such details is rarely seen today, with a few exceptions like Lunor from the Gernot Lindner era. Furthermore, vintage examples often exhibit slight variations due to being hand-bent and processed.
Reproducing an irregular and subtle outline with high precision using a master mold is an approach unique to EYEVAN 7285, something that vintage frames cannot achieve.
