Normally, a hand-wound OYSTER would fit into a 34mm case, but this model is housed in a thin 36mm case, earning it the nickname "Big Oyster."
While white or silver dials are occasionally seen, black mirror dials are extremely rare and hard to find.
The bracelet is also specifically designed for this thin case, a riveted FF75 7206. Since it's a 20mm bracelet, it's often swapped onto sports models, making it uncommon to find one still attached to a 6424.
Its thinness and narrow bezel give it the impact of appearing larger than its actual case size.
