1970s Cartier "Extraflat TANK"
The "TANK LOUIS CARTIER" is a flagship model from Cartier.
This particular model, manufactured in the 1970s, is an EXTRAFLAT (ultra-thin) version, pursuing the functional beauty of a dress watch with an even thinner profile among the Tank series.
It features the beautiful Tank details with a white Roman dial, blued steel hands, and a sapphire cabochon, and is further distinguished by the "PARIS" engraving at the 6 o'clock position.
The important dial condition is very clean, with no cracks.
Recently, models without cracks have become extremely rare.
The movement is a Jaeger-LeCoultre Cal.838/1, specially designed to fit this thin case.
It also comes with the 18K deployant buckle, synonymous with Cartier.
With its no-crack PARIS dial, EXTRAFLAT case, and Jaeger-LeCoultre movement, this is the ultimate Tank, a convergence of exquisite craftsmanship.
