This time, I'd like to introduce a model from EYEVAN 7285's 2025 SS collection that holds special significance for our store, AFTER. I'm sure quite a few of you might recognize the last two digits of MODEL 1096.
The design source for MODEL 1096 is none other than the Patek Philippe Calatrava. This pinnacle of dress watches is one of the products respected by the EYEVAN design team, and this piece was born by meticulously sampling several of its details.
Although watches served as the design source, the lens shape is not merely a perfect circle but has a subtle nuance. The simplicity and convincing quality conveyed by the sharp-edged parts are truly akin to the Calatrava.
The end piece, which connects the frame to the temple, is a direct representation of the Calatrava's lugs. It not only appears triangular like a lug when viewed from the front, but also perfectly captures the texture of the Calatrava's lugs, right down to how it curves backward with substantial thickness.
Above all, the rim wire, which reproduces the same distinct sharp edges seen on the Calatrava's case, is a detail that could only be achieved by EYEVAN 7285.
This rim wire was developed from scratch to achieve the ultimate edge with a corner radius of 0.1 mm. Furthermore, during the polishing process, the barrel tumbling and manual polishing times are finely adjusted for each plating color to preserve the edges as much as possible.
This abnormal level of meticulous attention to detail, which factories would typically not accommodate, was only made possible by the trust relationship between EYEVAN 7285, which has continued its approach of thoroughly obsessing over subtle details, and the artisans who support them.

Sampling details from a completely different product category, especially those not directly related to eyewear, is truly characteristic of EYEVAN 7285's approach.
The fact that its design source is the Patek Philippe Calatrava evokes a particular sentiment for AFTER, a store that specializes in both eyewear and watches. While there may be other opticians carrying the same MODEL 1096, it's highly unlikely that any store other than ours would also carry its design source, the Calatrava, simultaneously.
