Smooth Ghost
If I had to name the watch whose appreciation has risen the most in recent years, it would undoubtedly be this "Ghost dial," featuring a matte gray dial with white lettering.
We also featured it in the Journal two years ago, and thankfully, it received a great response even then.
Given that the lettering seems to disappear depending on the viewing angle, it has an anonymity that I believe perfectly matches the current era, where quiet luxury is highly sought after.
This is a Datejust with a smooth bezel, which is the rarest configuration among Datejusts. Its clean appearance makes it the most popular, and I believe it pairs exceptionally well with the Ghost dial.
The Ghost dial astonishes everyone who sees it.
Even if you've never worn a ROLEX before, this is a watch I highly recommend trying.
