The "Thunderbird," so nicknamed for being a hybrid of a sports model and a dress model, was born by adding a rotating bezel to the Datejust.
It's a model I personally love.
Despite its 36mm size, the rotating bezel adds a powerful and substantial presence to the watch.
Although silver dials are prone to damage, this one is in good condition with no noticeable flaws.
The crystal has been replaced with a domed type without a cyclops lens, giving it a clean look.
When it was released, this Thunderbird model was unpopular, making it surprisingly rare to find when you look for it.
