Ref.7928 TUDOR SUB MARINER

This is a TUDOR Ref. 7928 Submariner, the diffusion brand of ROLEX.

This is a rare TUDOR from the era when ROLEX crowns, casebacks, and bracelets were used.

The Ref. 7928 was manufactured for just under 20 years, from 1958 to 1967, and there are various dial variations. This particular model is a 4-line, shield logo dial. Up until 1966, it featured the rose logo, so this is the final 7928 SUBMARINER, transitioning from the rose to the shield logo.

The tritium lume has discolored to a pumpkin hue, giving the watch a very atmospheric feel.

The case is sturdy and powerful, as expected from a Submariner.

While Ref. 5513 Submariners from the same era command high prices, this piece offers an excellent balance of price and quality.
