ASK
This model features the lens shape of the 2024 A/W model 362, which embodies the vague image of "master's spectacles," with the entire frame finished in a slimmer design. The most distinctive feature is the temple, which swells towards the end piece, sampled from French vintage eyewear of the 1950s.
Lamination, where two pieces of acetate sandwich a metal core, is typically employed to showcase an elaborate core. However, in this case, the technique was used to create a uniquely shaped temple that cannot be achieved with shooting, which involves inserting a metal core.
Therefore, the design of the metal core itself is restrained, featuring a pear-skin texture that gives it an industrial feel. Furthermore, a black colorway is available where the core is completely invisible from the outside, more succinctly expressing this manufacturing philosophy.
