1296-2 Sunglasses

This ambitious piece is a two-point rimless frame that also incorporates a double-bridge design. The parts including the upper bridge are secured with nuts from the back of the front, allowing them to be removed to enjoy a single-bridge design. The depth created by attaching the parts from behind is also a key feature, and this depth is designed to be even more effective for thick prescription lenses.

At the exhibition, a photo of a 40s detachable collar shirt was displayed as reference material, and it was evident that the designer's sensibility found charm not so much in the idea of simply buying two types, but rather in the ability to switch between different styles depending on their mood.

This is a truly remarkable piece, with each part of the end piece and temples featuring the same design as the 1096, sampled from Patek Philippe's Calatrava, and also incorporating the same flex strap structure used in the 140, EYEVAN 7285's first two-point frame.

The sunglass lenses are made from lightweight and highly durable MR (1.60) material, and the colors are custom-made originals.
