The -1096-, which we previously introduced in our journal, was an ambitious piece designed with the Patek Philippe Calatrava as its design source. The bridge, endpiece, and temple each sampled elements from the belt buckle, lug, and dial, respectively. A rimless model in this lineage has now arrived.
The frame's structure uses the same design as the popular masterpiece -140-, which was EYEVAN 7285's first two-point frame since its release. The flex strap structure, seen in vintage frames, creates appropriate tension by sandwiching a double plate between the endpiece and the lens, preventing the lens from slipping.
The lens shape is a large square. Its natural outline, not overly sharp, blends naturally with the wearer's features.
