The -1012- glasses, inspired by those worn by River Phoenix in the late 80s, have arrived.
I've heard that vintage clothing stores are increasingly stocking 90s German frames, but the quality of glasses from that era isn't always satisfying. Even if one wants to wear 90s styles, the frames from that time often don't provide a sufficient sense of excitement. Because of this dilemma, I believe optical shops rarely stock items from that period.
In response, this model takes a bold, crossover approach, reviving 90s style while utilizing techniques from before the 70s to achieve the same texture seen in vintage frames.
The part connecting the front and temple, called the "endpiece," is not typically pressed but meticulously carved from scratch. Since this method inevitably leaves tool marks, all colors feature a brushed finish on the endpieces.
This big-shaped frame, born from meticulous craftsmanship that is more than just decorative, is satisfying even when worn with a masculine image. It's a pair that truly shines with EYEVAN 7285's pride in surpassing vintage originals, offering a satisfaction level that definitely exceeds that of 90s originals.
