1004 Sunglasses

The 1004 features a unique single-bridge design, with a tear-drop lens shape reminiscent of an aviator. It's said that this design only came to fruition after a long period of meticulously adjusting various details, rather than simply reducing the number of bridges.

The result is a pair of glasses with a unique balance, almost like a Boston shape, that can be worn effortlessly. No other brand in the same genre offers this particular balance, especially with a classic size. As designer Nakagawa himself wore this model at exhibitions, it's a piece packed with EYEVAN 7285's originality.

For the details, EYEVAN 7285's signature decorative rivet hinges are used. These parts are crafted through a very labor-intensive process: after hand-riveting the sun-platinum rivets, masking is applied, and then only the surface of the base is meticulously polished one by one. The screws holding these hinges are also original EYEVAN 7285 slotted screws, carefully chamfered.

For the sunglasses, original "Eyevan Curve Lenses" made from Japanese glass are used. These lenses are created by mixing metal particles and other materials for coloring, then molding each lens individually after dissolution.
