Cartier "Cabriolet"
This is Cartier's enigmatic model, commonly known as the "Cabriolet."
Although the same model has appeared at auction twice in the past, its official model name and other details remain unknown. It is clearly a special timepiece not generally available to the public, and is presumed to have been custom-made.
Measuring 32x21mm, it is compact but was a men's size at the time, and features a distinctive reversible case similar to Jaeger-LeCoultre's "Reverso."
The elaborately guilloché dial features a large Cartier logo and Roman numerals.
