This model, which we have introduced many times, is very popular and is commonly known as "BIG LOGO" because of the large ROLEX lettering on the dial.
With a 34mm case, wedge-shaped indices, alpha hands, and a date display, the prominent ROLEX lettering creates a very condensed design.
Even at 34mm, the addition of such details gives it a strong presence.
This is the Ref. 1501 with an engine-turned bezel.
It is more popular than the Ref. 1500 because the flatter bezel gives it more volume.
Big Logo models were only produced for 2-3 years, and their limited production means they are becoming increasingly rare.
