1980s Cartier "TONNEAU"
The historic "Tonneau," born in 1906, is considered the second oldest watch in CARTIER's long history.
It is a model with a long history, second only to the TANK.
This particular piece is an elegant and highly elaborate example from the 1980s re-issue, featuring a guilloché dial with "PARIS" lettering, MADE IN FRANCE.
The Tonneau was also re-issued in the CPCP collection, but the design is similar yet different, with a thinner bezel, making for a more delicate and beautiful design.
As the name suggests, the Tonneau has a curved case design that is very comfortable to wear and eye-catching.
