From 10 eyevan's STANDARD SERIES, which could be called the ultimate in understated design, a new oval shape has arrived for the 2025AW collection. When we introduced EYEVAN 7285's 197 over a year ago, the oval shape was still a niche genre. However, it has now become a trend, with many brands releasing their own versions this season.

For 10 eyevan, this is the most fashionable lens shape, first adopted in the sheet metal collection announced last year.

However, Mr. Nakagawa, the designer of EYEVAN 7285 / 10 eyevan, says that creating such an exquisite lens shape, even if it's broadly categorized as an oval, is by no means easy. He explains that while a typical oval shape is created by flattening a perfect circle, this method doesn't yield sufficient volume, making it unsuitable for men's glasses.

Therefore, by expanding the four corners of the lens shape to add volume, they created an oval with a substantial presence, reminiscent of 90's ARMANI, which is rarely seen in vintage designs. In a sense, it could even be considered close to a square shape, an oval shape with a unique presence that isn't merely soft.

AFTER has received two types of lenses this time: clear lenses and sunglasses.

The frame colors include the standard silver (1S), the subdued champagne gold (2S), and the old gold color (4S), which is the result of delicate handwork. In addition, the clear lens models include FAT PLATING models, which first appeared in 2025SS.
